Surdas was an Indian 16th-century poet and singer who was blind and known for his poetic compositions in the praise of Lord Krishna. According to some historians, Surdas was born somewhere between the years 1478 and 1483 [1] ( age 101 years; at the time of death) in Gram Sihi, Faridabad, Haryana.
