This is an intrepid walk up to Bartle Frere Summit and down to Junction Camp through the heart of Wooroonooran National Park in Queensland. This route does contain some serious elevation on the way up, so you should be prepared for some difficult sections. This area can be slippery after wet weather so caution should be taken on the ascent and descent where climbing and scrambling is involved.
